Savvas Lazaridis was born in Greece in 1962.
He studied photography at the Ecole Superieur Artistique "le75" in Brussels BE under Yves Auquier, Jacky Lecouturier, Francis Van Uffel and Jean-Marc Vantournhoudt, and he attended photography seminars and workshops in the USA with Eugene Richards, Costa Manos and Robert Frank.
His photographic work has been shown in personal and collective exhibitions in Europe and has been selected by Voix off in Arles, Les Boutographies, Benaki Museum, the Macedonian Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Photography in Thessaloniki and Athens Photo Festival, among others.
He has published the monographs, South Side Story (1993) and Crossing Lines (2002).
He is a professor in the photography department at the Ecole Superieur Artistique "le75" in Brussels.
